Bulk Back is short, and that's the best thing about it! It IS a killer workout, but man I was really close to losing my breakfast about 1/2 through. Not sure if it's being bent over and doing the high rep sets with a heavy weight, but I was shaking.
Did Pullovers today with 55, 60, and 65 lbs, drop set back to 55. That last 8 with 65 was rough. With that much weight you definitely have to control it on the way down. One Arm Row Force Set had my biceps on fire too.

As with yesterday, easing back into the workouts. I thought I'd skip legs today so as not to stress my recovery, but ended up doing it with 1/2 the weight I'd used before. Still an awesome workout that left me drenched, but didn't pull on the muscles nearly as hard. Heart rate got pretty high at times though.

Bulk Shoulders today. Great workout, really enjoyed that one. Pumped up and on fire at the end.
Now unfortunately I'm laid up for a week post-outpatient procedure... so I'm in a self-induced recovery week. Doc says no workouts at all for several days. Not digging that at all!!!

Bulk Arms today was KILLER! I really focused on the form, keeping my elbow locked in place on the curls and the tricep extensions. I think that Sagi is way dogging it on the overhead tri extensions though. I was using 45s, 52.5s and 60s, and could have gone heavier, but getting a 65-70 lb SelectTech around behind your head is a trick. Those flippin hammer concentration curls were murder. I was using 15s, 20s, and 25s, and the 25s were a bit too much. By the end of the last set the 15s were killing me!
As with every new day, my ego is kicked down a notch or two, but I'm loving it and looking forward to next week's improvement.
Shoulders tomorrow, then a small out-patient procedure that may have me off for 2-3 days but hopefully it will be less than that.

Second go at Body Beast Cardio and Abs today. That's a brutal workout for sure. The pace is pretty intense but the combination of light weight but fast moves with no rest really hits hard. The ab routine is solid as well.
