easy day today, no exercise or games, use it as a rest day. Very naughty didn't bother with breakfast, I know meal of kings, best meal of the day etc. Picked up my daughter and went for lunch, she picked and out of everywhere we could go she picked Morrisons supermarket. She is so cheap bless her. Its killing me not to peek at my the scales but I will be strong willed only 2 days to go.

bad day at the office, lost cricket by 3 runs, only managed a draw in tennis, never had time to play the final set, my games were interrupted by work, do these people who employ me know how to prioritize, interrupting games to work , they will have me doing a real job soon. Well another 3 days to go before I hit the scales. fingers crossed, I don't think I will have as big a lose as first time, I think in the first 7 days I beasted myself. I have had a blowout, a pub meal a Barbie and tomorrow I will be picking up my daughter from uni and might take her for lunch, wont be doing any exercise as it is a day of. finally - Arsenal were so lucky.

busy day today, well if you can call playing games busy. Game of tennis, and then a couple of games of volleyball. Beaten on both counts boo hoo, blame it on my blow out Saturday night. Wii have to have a rematch tomorrow afternoon, would play in the morning but I am playing indoor cricket first thing about 0815 - life is hard you know. Had a really good night at my friends Barbie, havnt seen one another for a couple of years so we had a lot of catching up to do and that in turn meant a lot of drinking. Must admit I am not hung up on calories etc, I use them as a general guide only, it depends on how I feel. As I have always said if you fancy something well thn have it, just don't make it every night and its the same with training some days it will be hard somedays it will be light, it depends on what my body wants to do. I classify all the games I play as training, I like to burn about 300 calories at a time, that is the only thing a really monitor. But fingers crossed for tomorrow.

well no running or raq sports today, The sun was shinning so took out a couple of spinning bikes for 35 mins. That's the longest I have been on a bike in 40 years. Used light resistance bit at a high intensity, good calorific burn for 35 mins work. Strange couldn't get by heart beat over 142, normally on a treadmill I am good for 160 - 170. The other thing that felt weird was that the only part of me to sweat was my head and face, notmally I look like I have just come out of a swimming pool ha ha. Good day. Day off tomorrow, just chill I think.

oh dear no tennis or badminton today, went for another run instead, this time did interval training on the treadmill. 7.5 mph(12 kph)1 minute on 30 seconds off repeat 5 times, increase speed to 7.6 12.2 kph and do 2 intervals keep increasing the speed until you reach 8 mph.12.8 kph and then start decreasing speed by the same amount until you are back were you started. Takes about 30 - 33 minutes and covers 4 miles. You can start anywhere depending on your own ability and the length of running time is dependant on your overall fitness, you can start by walking. Good calorie burn.
