I think many things has been the key factor to my weight gain last year and this year so far. Last March was the one year anniversary of my dads passing and I also lost a great friend at the start of this year. He was my Pastor and friend. I have been under a lot of stress and depression as well. I am a mood eater and I eat when I am depressed or bored I do not know how to beat these things yet, so any advice?

I come to the honest point in my life that I have to do something about my weight. I have been so wrong just thinking I can deal with it and or it will just go away. I went to the doctor the other day and they weighed me and I was 488 lbs what a shock. So now I am in a fight for my life and I need all the help I can get. The doctor suggested surgery but I don't want to go that rout. I wont be lying if I say I am scared. So those who read this pleas pray and think of me.

wow, what can I say? Haven't been on here for a very long time and I really haven't been watching what I eat at all. When I way my self the scale doesn't even tell me the correct weight, even at the doctor I max out the scale. SO with the new coming year I am going to take this very seriously I will loose weight and get healthy again. I just need help to get me going in the right direction. I am not doing this alone my wife is by my side and my son (soon to be 6) is here to encourage me when I need it.
SO, watch out fat here I come:)
