So...I jumped over that plateau. I felt like I was holding on to that 131.0 or 130.0 number for WAYYYYY too long. But to be honest, I haven't seen much of a change in my body. Clothes aren't necessarily fitting better, and I don't feel like my workouts are really easing up. Oh well....slow and steady. It's been a stressful month, and I am going to just be excited about 129!!!!

So...quite a few of you have asked how I kept the weight off when I was traveling. It seems the curse for me is eating when I am bored. Nice to finally figure that one out, huh? I also have always had the "no time to eat, binge later" trend going on. Well, while I was in Europe, seeing the world one beautiful city at a time, I was blessed by cute little markets that inspired me to snack all day and eat smaller meals. I also usually lived in a flat between 2-5 miles from the dance studios where I was training. So, I would tell myself that if I wanted to had a big fancy dinner (who would say no??) that I wasn't allowed to take public transport. So, I would have to get up earlier and walk walk walk my little heart out. Broke even. Whew! That's all that is important I suppose.
But, now that I am back to my city flat I have to really work to keep snacking. No cute markets. No way to walk to work here in Cincinnati, since it's not possible. Makes those habits a little less easy to keep. So, now I need to re-evaluate my diet. Down a couple of pounds today. I'm thinking it was because of my gym visit yesterday. I knew I worked out for a reason! :-)

So, it's back to the grind. Back to work, back to life. I tell you...traveling was amazing, but my bed is so comfy, and there really isn't any place like home. Had a good weekend. Both entertainment and diet wise. Stayed on track and feel pretty good again about how I look in my work clothes. Although I didn't stick to a diet while I was in Europe I did walk EVERYWHERE. It ended up pretty much balancing out. Now, with the combination of workouts and diet I should see more results. So far so good on that one...:-)

Hi Everyone! I know it's been forever, but yours truly was on a whirlwind trip around the globe for a bit. Work related but still fun. Now, I am back in the states and just getting back into the groove. Put a few pounds back on, but ready to give it another go. I hope everyone is well....:)
