The finish line is in sight.
Looking forward to seeing what goal feels like.
I had to go buy a couple pairs of new jeans. I started in a 24 and the pairs I bought are a size 10! Beyond thrilled with the results.
The changes I am making are for a lifetime. I cannot hit goal and then go back to my old way of eating.
This is satisfying and sustainable. I can eat anything I want in moderation. Nothing is forbidden and accountability sure helps.
For anyone that is struggling, stick with it. I was almost 250# when I started. If I can do it, you can too!

losing 2.0 lb a week

I have almost reached my first goal of 160. That means I've lost over 80 pounds since my highest weight was 249.
As I near that goal mark, I have reassessed my target weight. Never in a million years did I actually believe that I would reach 160. Yes, you heard me right. I didn't even believe in myself. All those years of self doubt and loathing made me feel inferior.
Now that I've been so successful, I KNOW I can reach my goal, no matter what it is. I believe I will shoot for 145. That weight is just inside the range for a healthy BMI for my height.
I cannot wait to see what goal weight feels like!!! Then the real work begins. Learning to maintain that weight and not fall into bad habits again will take the rest of my life. Daunting and exciting at the same time.
I CAN DO THIS!!! I WILL DO THIS!!!

My first goal was to reach the 160sand now that I am almost there, I am thinking that I will go for 150 to put myself in a normal BMI range.
I cannot believe that this time I have finally lost so much weight. I believe my highest was 247# so I am down 80#.
I feel amazing and I am off all medications except one for nerve pain from a back injury. I can walk 5+ miles daily and I have energy like never before.
I've finally learned how to track and eat properly. Once I am at normal BMI, I will need to learn to maintain this healthy eating for life. No more yo-yo dieting.
To anyone struggling, you CAN do this!
