So, Here I go again.

I've done this a couple of time (the yo..yo), but the last time I really thought I had it. In July of 2017, I got a diagnosis of diabetes & it scare'd the poop out of me (my mother passed away from complications due to her diabetes about 15ya). At that time I was right around the 300# mark, so I got to work to kick diabetes in the ass. And I did it: I changed my diet, I started go'n the thy gym 4-6 times a week, I started walk'n 14,000+ steps a day & by July of 2018 I was 217lbs (my goal weight was 225) and my A1C was down to a no longer diabetic 5.2. Yippie!!

Then I got hit with a string of injuries, and ended with me have'n to get surgery on my right hip to fix some major tissue damage in October of 2019. The surgery didn't go as well as expected, and everything lapsed. I was still eating much better so I'm still well under 6 on the A1C, so that's good. But everything else reverted almost to my pre diagnosis state. I caught myself do'n all the thing that I worked so hard learn and do better & got back up to 270Lbs.

So, in March I got that go ahead & I was psyched. I had a free gym on the office building I work in that had everything I needed (and was almost alway empty durring the time I would go). I started lifting again (yep, still hurts all over every time you have to go more that a month), I got to use my favorite low impact cardio (the elliptical). Things were look'n like they might turn around quick....
