I have goals. Lots of them. And I ain't gettin' any younger!
I'm down about 30 lbs from a year ago, but I have a little bit more to go. I run about 12 miles a week on average, do sit ups, push ups, and squats every day to keep things loose. Once I hit my weight goal, my next goal is to rebuild my muscle while improving my blood pressure readings (currently at 140/95-ish).
After that, I want to live an active life until the day I die. My bucket list is full of things like:
Be the oldest published author
Play messy twister
Complete all 3 Spartan Races in 1 year
Learn to surf
Swim with sea turtles
Have a food fight
stand on the equator
Walk behind a waterfall
Get a tattoo
Write a Christmas song
Meet my children's children's children and impress them with my keen knowledge of current music (in 2065?)and robotics.
And the list goes on... But I can't do many of these things unless I have my health. So, here's to a consistent, healthy long life!
