I am 73 and have diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
I just got a CGM and it seems to help me know what sets off my glucose alarms however when eating for all the conditions I run into issues of to much fat or to much sodium and watching my carbs is only part of the journey. I am looking into Keto just for less carbs but with the fat the cholesterol is still an issue.
A balancing act for sure.
This is the second time I have been on a program to get healthy, in 2008 until 2009 I lost 115 pounds and kept it off until 2017 when I got diabetes and the weight just exploded and here I am again trying to get healthy. I know it is a lot harder now with my age and health issues but I can do this.
