Having the bacon & eggs this morning. For 210 calories. Tastes good! I am also making an adjustment to lunch. Instead of having the homemade hamburger with cheddar cheese, tomato & mayo like I’m fixing for my family (550 calories), I’m going to eat the rest of the pork BBQ & coleslaw for less than 300. The Franklin Nut Cake is in the oven. It won’t be as beautiful as usual because I was only supposed to use 4 drops of green food color to color the candied pineapple and goofed! I took off the top expecting to squeeze the drops out, but you weren’t supposed to take it off, it was a flip top! Now it’s going to look like a Pistachio Cake or a Grinch Cake! I’m sure it will still taste delicious.

Weight this morning down to 191.4. Part of the reason is that I actually got 12 hours of sleep last night. Every time I wake up, I pee. I’m having to measure my pee output in milliliters for an upcoming urologist appointment. The last two times I peed, both after midnight, I lost 800ml and 750ml, which equals 3 pounds (500ml weighs 1 pound). I usually only get 7-8 hours of sleep a night, so I still have that water retention when I wake up.
Yesterday’s calories were about 1,420. If I hadn’t had that third King’s Hawaiian roll with butter, it would have only been 1,280. N ed to SAVE up calories because I have to bake a HALF of a Franklin Nut Cake for my husband’s uncle’s birthday. Guess what is happening with the other half - I am dividing it into 8 slices. One will go to each of the 4 widows in the church, 2 will go to my husband, and I’ll eat one. That still leaves one slice unaccounted for. Gotta figure out what to do with that slice so I don’t eat it too. It has 630 calories in each slice. Still trying to keep my calories under 600 for the week.

Official weight-loss for the week is 6.6 pounds. Still have some cleaning out to do. Average Calorie Count per day averaged under 1,500, PTL. That was my goal. Went ahead and got in my 2 miles of walking yesterday. Had church yesterday (1-1/2 hours) and had to drive over 2 hours to pick to pick up my MIL, take her to church and then back to my sister-in-laws. I don’t miss bd doing that, it’s just a “reason” I didn’t clean the bathroom like I wanted to. I also got in 45 minutes of piano practice - goal is 1 hour a day, which I met day before last. I’m learning “Mansion Over the Hilltop” and “Praise to the Lord.” Feels good to be getting back into that habit after slacking off for a couple months! Day 1 of 3, measuring my urine output and leakage. Fun times!
