I am a 24 year-old engineer living in Oregon with my husband. We welcomed of first child at the beginning of 2010. I couldn't have been happier! ...until I realized how much weight I gained. I was put on bed-rest from Thanksgiving through New Years. I thought that keeping the holiday weight off was hard before, but being immobile and pregnant made it very easy to gain. But I am back on the exercise and healthy eating wagon! I am 5'9" so I've finally made it down to the "normal" weight range, but there are still some pounds that I would LOVE to shed.
I should also mention that I'm in a 6-month weightloss competition with my husbands family. It's finally over on September 17th, so I'm in the final sprint to see if I can win! ..... AND I DID! Yay me!
