Best Time Ever!
13.1 miles in 2:07 on Thursday's Turkey Trot sponsored by Outback Steakhouse in Jacksonville, FL. I started right when they began to pick up the mats ( I wanted to "go" before I go...)so, I started dead last. Then, I past most of all the back end, and caught up with the last of the middle. I needed to beat my last 1/2 marathon time of 2:19. And, that was achieved by 12 minutes. My next feat is to finish the Jacksonville Bank Marathon and better than my last time of 5:30. I'm shooting for 4:45!

Oh no! If one doesn't re-evaluate their lifestyle and re-calculate points, one could lose track real quick! I gained 10 # so quick, and didn't even know why. Even though my run mileage is growing, I still see my weight doing the same! It was fun doing 17 miles on Sunday, but I must watch the intake!

It's been awhile, but I'm still 100% at goal weight, and looking forward to completing 2 more marathons along with 1 more 1/2 marathon. Last week, I broke my own record of 13 miles. My new record: 2 hours 16 minutes. That turkey 1/2 marathon: I must complete at or better than 2 hours 10 minutes! We'll see. More to come...
