I'm a Christian, married to the BEST husband ever. We farm in New Mexico. I have one son, 23, and one daughter in college, 20.
I was the primary caregiver for my mother for about 8 years. She had alzheimers. I was blessed that I was able, with the help of the aforementioned BEST husband ever, to keep her at home until she passed.
Now with my nest nearly empty, I needed to decide what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Turns out, what I want to do is spend time with my husband. He is a farmer, so we won't really ever retire, but I want the time we have to be fun and adventurous, and we can't do that with my current weight and potential health problems. I already have fibromyalgia, I don't need anything else slowing me down.
I'm learning to paint, and I love gardening, especially flowers.
