I crave high carb foods salt and sugar.
Today I ate ground turkey, I did not measure, I ate spinach with cheese, for brunch and I ate broccoli with cheese, fries, and grilled chicken breasts. I keep trying different diets, low carb, no sugar, no flour, etc. I know I eat out of stress grandma dessie is in hospital, doctor says that her hemoglobin is low and that a transfusion would not help her. She is in Beaumont's hospice.
171.0 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 26.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thank You, I know I use food to comfort me, so I change diets, I was doing great and lost 20 pounds on Medical Weight loss and have gained 10 pounds since my grandmother's health declined, I know I use food to comfort me, right now I just need a meal plan that I can stick with not sure if I want to do Atkins or some other diet, but I know I need to make it a lifestyle and not a short time fix. I would welcome any suggestions.

My son introduced me to Keto a little more than a week ago. He has lost 20 lbs in two months. I'm new to it but I think it's sustainable because I don't feel deprived. I eat around 1400 cal a day split between two meals but always feel full. In between meals I drink water and coffee with heavy cream and sugar free coffee creamer. It's high fat/low carb. Some days I can eat about 100g fat something I would never have done before. But the weight has been going down steady so far. I know eventually the weight loss will slow down or I hit a plateau but this way of eating is pretty easy for me. Eat real food, don't waste your time and money on diet products. You'll be surprise with some preparation and planning you can fix up a decent meal in no time. There are a lot of Keto websites out there, give it a try, it might work for you.

try almond flour if you like nuts and find decent recipes it help satisfy the need for "breads" or "crusts for me. although I will admit its a little pricey, and is an adjustment for sure as far as learning how to cook with it!

You can also making your own almond flour. If you have a bullet with a grinder attachment. Or any divice that has an attachment like a food processor it's a process but we'll worth it for the savings. YouTube has a tutorial and the same person has great videos on making bread and other recipes. Hope this helps. Good luck in your journeys.
