Lady.....as the kids get ready for the discipline of early hours, regular mealtimes and homework...you can too.....plan good meals, use fruits for desserts and snacks, have carrot sticks, celery and cukes ready as snacks...and...turn on the old music from your teen and dance your butt off........keep a list of what you ate for the day...logit in once in the evening.......expect to go two steps forward and one back every week.....LUCK

It took a healthy heart and mind to let go and enjoy the family and the vacation. The same will set you back on your path. Worth it.

Kathleen, I visited an integrated medicine practitioner. She suggested the test based on my self report of irritability and mood swings.

i'm learning; an integrated medicine practitioner is an MD that then specialized in mind /body or traditional and alternative medicine?? this is new to me.

She says, "I use whatever works. This includes acupuncture, manual manipulations, mind-body work, nutrition and supplementation as well as allopathic approaches." I am relieved to know there is a problem that can be defined, measured, and treated.

Well, I'm glad you had a good trip, and I doubt anybody could go on a cruise with 24 hrs. access to good food an not give in at some point. Sorry about the Pyrrole disorder, but glad it's treatable. Now for the hard part--going back to work and back to the diet. Have a good day!
