Day 5 of a planned 5 days of mostly ‘no solid food’ fasting
This drop was a surprise.
I was only able to run one day this week. However, I did do a good job keeping the carbs and protein down.
Because I drink protein shakes during the week I will have slower weight loss if I consume *excess protein* (150g+ a day). Most people get their protein from solid food, and to consume that much protein, you would probably require 3k+ in calories. When I drink only protein drinks, I can hit 150g a day with only 700 calories.
Keeping my carbs around 20g a day *and* my protein below 100g a day takes mental effort. This week I seemed to do ok. However, every week is different, and I am not a person who thinks ‘I learned, and I will now make good choices for the rest of my life’.
Haha! No… 😆🤣
This is just grace. This is just a blessing that is happening right now. I can only ‘try’ to do what I can and enjoy any blessings as they come…

@Br_e_co - Thanks! I 'tried' to lose 5lbs this week, but, you know how 'plans' go 😆 So to actually lose-exactly-5lbs this week was a bit of a 'surprise' 🤣
