Wasn't going to weigh in till the end of the 30 Day Vegan Challenge. But, I felt like I was gaining weight while eating over my RDI. So when I was cleaning the animal scale at work this morning, I decided to see the damage. How can that be, filling out, but have a weight release? YAY :)

Thanks kpwcalories! Tulipgirl6, I stay close to the anti-fungal protocol. Side effect: feeling wonderful and weight release. May be slow for many, but I am thrilled. I do minimal exercise. Love to eat, so I go over my RDI at least half the time. This is the first time in my life that I didn't gain it all back. I feel so good eating this way, the binges are just not worth it. They do happen once in a while, but now they make me sick.

Plenty of muscle build! Care to share with me some details about the challenge you're following? I would love to do the same thing, but have a hard time planning menus.

Sunshinetrugillo, me filling out is from eating large amount of carbs. The challenge is the 30 Day Vegan Challenge. No meat or dairy. I don't eat grains. So all I'll eat is nuts and seeds, fruits, vegetables and fats. My regular WOE (anti-fungal protocol) is because I work in dirty, dusty and sometimes really filthy conditions.

hi sugar, can you tell us more about the anti-fungal protocol? I tried looking it up..... so you normally don't eat grains? is it because they don't agree with your stomach? or is that part of the protocol; sorry just trying to learn from you :-) btw what kind of work do you do?

It sounds like it is really working for you, Sugar! Nice. Eating over your RDI and still dropping the pounds - that's good

Good morning Tulipgirl6! It all started when I was sick in bed for 4 mos. I remembered seeing a show called: Know the Cause by Doug Kaufmann. He mentioned something about how some illnesses are caused by fungus. (Since the work I do, I knew I was in some very unhealthy conditions) I was so sick, I decided to give his Phase 1 diet a try. On day 21, I started to feel much better. Day 37, an headache I'd had since I was a teenager (due to injury) went away permanently. On day 40, all the pain from my hips to shins disappeared. I loved the way I felt. To my surprise, my weight was releasing. The only time I don't follow that WOE is around holidays and the occasional binge. Lately, the binges just aren't worth it. --- I do work at an animal hospital. Take care of sheep there also. Sheep are not the cleanest of animals. I will get calls to go into homes to clean in some very unsanitary conditions. Mold, dust, all kinds of animal poop, dead mice, etc. ---As I am typing this a skunk, mostly white just walked by me in the yard.---ADDH moment! LOL If anyone has any questions, I'd be glad to answer them. Again, thank you all for your kind support

It sounds similar to the candida protocol, Sugar. I was born with thrush, and battled candida overgrowth most of my childhood. Very little was understood about it until about the 80's. Sometimes it feels like good health is such a tight wire to walk!
