Hello everyone! How are you? Today is the 13th of August, and it was a date for checking my weight. Here is the result of my weighing: • Lost so far in total ,when I was 116 kg a couple of years ago: - 11.8 kg. • Today, my weight is : 104.2 kg. • First goal : 95 kg • Still to go : 9.2 kg. What did I do differently this time: - eating smaller portions - eating more protein ( eggs, chicken, yoghurt ) - eating more cereal with fiber - eating more fresh vegetables I think these changes in my diet are showing some positive results . I will continue to lose weight with a positive mindset. 😄

Still to go: 9.3 lb.
Diet followed reasonably well.

dawnterry, also I am eating a little of carbs, too, which in a past I tried to restrict myself from eating it. In the past I was on other types of diets ( like Atkins diet ). I did not liked it. So now I am on the Mediterranean diet mixing with Anti-Inflammatory diet. Eating everything, including carbs ( but trying not to eat carbs in the evening meal ). I do feel much happier now. 😁

I am new here I lost 1lb in my first week. I think smaller portions are going to be my main task. I only have one cup of coffee a day the rest is fruit teas or flavoured water.

gillie_5864, I am sooooooo struggling to reduce coffee consumption. I used to have probably 8 cups of coffee per day, my blood pressure was fine. Now I am having 5-6 cups of coffee ( my blood pressure is up, but it is level of pain which makes this blood pressure go up ), but when I am unwell than I do not drink coffee ( I am freezing concentrated lemon juice into cubes and putting them into the glasses with tap water ). But, still, I do feel need to reduce coffee consumption. 🙃

@Yelena'sNewLife, I switched to decaf coffee several months ago because I kept getting heart palpitations when I drank coffee with some medication. The decaf available in the supermarket was awful and tasteless. I switched to a buying online getting a brand made using organic beans and the Swiss water method - the richness and flavour is preserved. If I didn't know it was decaf, I'd not realise. No more palpitations and I can brew up as much coffee as I fancy.

Hello, KMD1975. Thank you for mentioning me about decaff coffee. I found one brand of decaff coffee, which I can drink. Usually I am having it in the evening after dinner. But I do agree on one thing with you, that normal decaff coffee is undrinkable 😆
