Just woke up (3:30am) at 179.8 pounds! And that is with no bowel activity lately. I’m very excited! Finally into the 170’s! I’ve actually been eating MORE calories per day than last week, but I guess the walking is tipping the scales. I burn just under 700 calories with the 6 miles. My weight will probably be slightly up and down for a week or so before I settle into the 170’s. I’ve been in the 180’s for the past 18 weeks. I was able to whiz through the 190’s in only 7 weeks after I dropped below 200. I have a feeling it will be a pretty good while to work my way through the 170’s on my way to the 160’s (which I haven’t seen since 1984, after I gained 35 pounds in my first year of marriage). Thank you to the Lord, and to the many of you who have encouraged me on this journey for the past 5 years!

Congratulations Debbie. I'm so happy for you and impressed with all your effort in walking and physical therapy. It's such a good thing you are thinking ahead that your weight may be up and down for a little while before it settles down.

Congratulations!
Also, I'm not sure if your bowel issues are chronic or what's causing them... But I take opioids daily and also have bowel issues, sometimes for a week on end! My GI Dr recommended a cocktail that usually works like a charm: Senna Plus, 8oz hot/warm prune juice, and 8oz hot coffee (In that order) 👍
