The day didn't go exactly as planned yesterday, but it went well. My granddaughter was sick, so it was just my grandson and my twin friends for the pool initiation. The water in the top 12" was 83 degrees. Below that, it was a bit cool, but you acclimated to it in just a minute or two, and then it was completely comfortable!
My bruise is almost gone - this Arnica Bruise Cream really works (Amazon, $13.99, I think). I should be able to donate plasma by Monday, PTL!
Weight is holding steady, and even is down a bit today. Still been eating anything I want to, but trying to eat less, and making sure I get at least one or two vegetables or fruit in the mix. Getting plenty of fiber, so bowel activity has been consistent. That helps.
Took a day off from limiting Diet Coke yesterday. Back to drinking primarily water for the weekend to prepare for plasma donation. Since I only have ONE good vein (all the rest are covered with blubber), I need to make sure I'm well hydrated!
