Yesterday, I lost 3/10 of a pound, and I chose to BE THANKFUL for it and to focus on the POSITIVE things in my life. Today, I lost FOUR-tenths of a pound, and I continue to be grateful that I am making downward progress. I'm trying not to stress over things, as they are all restrictions or boundaries or mandates that I've put on MYSELF.
I think God is a whole lot more "laid back" about my life than I am, because He has all knowledge and realizes that it will all work itself out in the end. He is "the author and finisher of my faith." He is writing the book of my life, and He already knows that it will have a happy ending. I'm striving to "cast all my cares upon Him," and not sweat the small stuff.
I've been a Christian for about 50 years -- a half of a century! Getting back to the basics of Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths."

I agree. all the dumb crap I do he's just looking at me with hope I'll get it. someone once told me God lives in all time at the same time. makes sense. he said I declare the end of a thing from the beginning. he's in both places at the same time. blew my peanut brain. the outcome is already written we just have to enjoy the journey. great post.

Debbie, I have lost a lot of weight - just a itty bitty ounces at a time - mainly because I’m not exercising, but it’s a loss anyway and I’m getting there, congratulations!!
Your life will never be that bad when you put your trust in the Lord. Thankfully He is there always and knows what we need and He never gives up on us. Sometimes, it’s us who gives up on us, so we believe the Lord does too. Keep the faith, know He’s there, and He cares and loves us all as silly as we can be.
Love your quote, Proverbs3.5-6.!!!!
Have a Blessed Sunday!!!🌺🌺🌺

Thank you for the scripture, I needed to hear it. I just wrote in my journal, that as of yesterday I am finally afraid of my husband.
