Thank you Fat Secet - I did not feel deprived! We went out with friends to a Tapas (small plate) restaurant after we saw a play tonight. I felt really in control, and ordered a small plate with two scallops and some greens for a total of 55 calories! And I drank 8 cups of water.
It was a wonderful feeling to enjoy the company and the ambience - and not be focused on what everyone else was eating (some fried foods and fatty meats). I enjoyed my little snack and laughed a lot, and came home feeling proud of my change in attitude. Of course, I still wanted to eat the fatty stuff but knew I would need to log it here and be honest with myself; so glad I made the healthy choice.
