Thanks MJ and MomofTeens! Yes, it's easy to get discouraged but persistence versus perfection! Its funny how when I reach one goal then I think I should go for a new goal. I'm happy with where I am but it if I lost a couple more pounds I could have a little "cushion." First I need to see if I can maintain this weight. I'm sure I'll have a little fluctuation after the weekend like I always do, but I do enjoy having some wine on a Saturday night and tomorrow we're going with some friends who have been asking us for a year to go to the casino in Omaha with them. They know we're not big gamblers so it sounds like they have quite an intinerary planned for the day in Omaha - it should be a nice change of pace for us. I know there will be a huge brunch buffet involved and I'm ready to enjoy it!
I did not ride my bike today - the sun went back under the clouds and with a wind from the northwest and a temp of 40 it is a bit too cool for me. My husband and I drove around on the search for eagles for me to photograph and we weren't disappointed. We saw 6 total; and 3 of them we saw several times. Not a long enough telephoto lens for any really great photos - but I just love watching them!
