Well, the choice yesterday to have birthday cake as my dinner wasn't the best nutritionally, but could not do both calorically...and it was my birthday, so chocolate cake it was! Went dancing with friends and will have more dancing tonight...and, yes, probably cake, since we are still using my birthday as an excuse to party with friends! (Did I mention that this was the big 50?)
The downside of having cake for a meal (besides the high fat, sugars, and almost non-existent nutritional benefits) is that cake just isn't that satisfying in the long run. Was pretty hungry last night.
