Never, ever, EVER quit. Down .8 - I am 4.5 lbs away from Onederland. My next weigh in is tomorrow. Today is Thirsty Thursday and before consuming any alcohol this evening, I will allow 5 hours for my stomach to empty. I will win!

Thanks all. I celebrated breaking my short 3 day weight plateau with some birthday cake for breakfast. WAIT!!!! Breakfast: Dymatize Nutrition ISO 100 Hydrolyzed 100% Whey Protein Isolate - Birthday Cake flavor, Carrington Farms
Coconut Cooking Oil, Garelick Farms Half & Half, Coffee, Water & ice mixed together in a shaker. Yummy and I am stuffed. How the heck am I going to eat lunch today. By the way, I am nailing my macros as per myketpapp calculator.
Based on my current numbers, it recommends 25 NC, 113 P, 119 F Daily. For Oct 1 - 5, I am averaging 25.32 NC, 78.03 P (I fast 25 hrs hence the lower P #) and 102.91 F On my way for sure. Did mention how stuffed I feel since 7:40 AM almost 3 hours ago??? Onwards..

This may be a dumb question, but what’s the benefit of waiting 5 hours to let your stomach empty before drinking alcohol?

You're in the home stretch now! Looking forward to seeing the Onederland post ASAP! Keep on plugging Ches!

@Dana for me all this does is get the alcohol into your system faster so you don't have to drink as much to get a little buzz if that is what you're looking for, but that is just me:)

And you were concerned about a short plateau. Keep it going!!!

@DanaW83 - The nutrients protein, carbohydrates, and fat can be stored in our bodies, but alcohol cannot. For this reason, it takes priority over everything else in order to be metabolized; doing so means that all of the other processes that should be taking place are being interrupted. Other nutrients need to be broken up prior to being absorbed, whereas alcohol is absorbed as is. It is all about self experimenting. Changing to 3 ultra low carb beers and one glass of wine is a HUGE change for me but change is good. Will I reduce or eliminate alcohol in the future? Time will tell.

So @ches what your saying is that getting drunk faster is just a pleasant side effect....lol

The scale did right by you today

@Tbaygirl - Yes!!! 3 ultras and 1 wine during 3 hours of playing pool will have me feeling good, not obnoxious, tonight for sure. I will deal with that pesky scale tomorrow morn.

NICE! Also, why am I learning about drinking NOW, after I've already offloaded that factor and can't be bothered to add math back in? Would sure have been nice to have had coaches like Tbaygirl and Ches!
