Abs are one of my main objectives this month before Mexico. I'm not sure I've ever had them but I do know IF I did - it was over 15 years ago. I think they departed the moment I got pregnant with my son. In the years since, I've been plagued with back problems. Hopefully working the core will help alleviate BOTH the lack of abs and the ache in my back.

DAY 2
Going completely without sugar or refined foods has been interesting and it's only day 2! In the end I know the change will be for the better even if I'm having to go it alone. Maybe I'll even allow myself a cheat day...once I get past this first week.

Diet Calendar Entry for 02 February 2012:
1208 kcal Fat: 33.44g | Prot: 35.29g | Carb: 177.74g.   Breakfast: banana, trader joes freeze dried banana, quaker plain regular, cup of coffee. Lunch: olive oil, parmesan cheese, spaghetti squash, boiled potato, chester fried chicken. Dinner: Leinenkugel Beer, Swiss Cheese, Bean Soup, Onion Bacon Jalapeno Bread. Snacks/Other: butter, popcorn, apple. more...

Hoooray for no sugar!! you can do it!! It gets easier, trust me. I've been eating pretty clean for years but only just recently "cracked down" and took another step towards going more whole and raw. I cut out all sweeteners, syrups, sugars, anything ending in "ose" (fructose/glucose/sucrose), honey, molasses, agave, you name it. It's been over 2 weeks and I feel like a new person, no cravings, no crashes, no guilt. I feel clean on the inside and I don't want the crap back. You're on the right track to a nice tummy and strong core! Sugar won't help you get there! Keep up the good work! :)
