Ok, no. of things to report:
1) I'm in ketosis...2 days ago was moderate (40), but today was large! (80)...dunno what that means exactly or its implications---where's that darn atkins book---need to find time to read it!
2) weight is down to 139.2--same as the weight I was on before leaving for India---so a month's gain of 10 pds is gone in 7 days exact!! I should be happy...but also am a little worried that this rapid weight loss might be a mirage-effect due to carbs, and as soon as my body stabilizes, the weight may creep back up...
3)I started a new challenge with my girl, Leesah, and we are now shooting for 130 pds by valentine's day...I have 9 pds to lose and she has only 5-6 pds..The idea is to challenge ourselves to stick to 2 hours of our workout plan, and eat carbs under 20 (calorie-counting for her)..This should be the final inscentive I needed---so I'm excited!
4) I have to say i'm pretty proud of how i've stuck to induction for a complete week w/o cheating at all! and i've seen the largest ketosis ever! Wonder what a week more of this would yield?!
5) Have to decide what to do after next week when induction is complete. Should i go on to stage 2 of atkins, or can i safely switch to eating less amoungs of good carbs?
6) i need to stop being a wimp and start my running tommorrow no matter what!!!
7) Did really good sticking to plan despite crazy schedule of first day back at work!
8) Meals today: coffee with cream at 9.30 am 1 string cheese after 6 pm 1 salad for lunch with cheese and ranch: 2 pm 1 atkins bar: 9 pm halopeno cheese 1-2 pieces gym: 9-11 pm dinner: tofu noodles, tofu cubes, veggies, cheese stir fry with chinese sauce
Gym: treadmill at 3.8-4.0 mph, 2 miles, 31 mins bike: 7 miles, 32 mins elliptical: 2 miles, 20 mins
I don't want to be rendered again tomm in today's situation so i have packed lunch for tomm, plan to make a fast bfast at home, and just in case i'm late at getting back, i have backup leftover dinner stuff.
