First time I have been at 172 since 11/27/2015!
It is one thing to have confidence and quite another to be arrogant about it. I am afraid that I have crossed the line in my case. Yesterday I went to the casino again and we hit the buffet.My problem is that I had 4 desserts: a small bowl of Rocky Roads ice cream, 2 slices of very rich cake and a small slice of a rich pie. Chocolate,my downfall, in 3 of the desserts and coconut in the other. I justified it to myself saying I would lose the gain right away. Arrogantly I downplayed the fact that I am prediabetic and my body has issues processing sugar like regular folks. A couple hours later, I felt lightheaded, either from low blood pressure or an elevated blood sugar level.

I am not saying that I won't have dessert again, I am saying that I will do so in moderation. In no way could 4 desserts be considered a normal intake for a person that has been diagnosed prediabetic.

I also went up a couple pounds in weight as well. That was expected. I like to eat. In the future though, I had better be mindful of that little prediabetic condition however.


The salmon is missing from the next photo as well as most of the green beans.

Forgot to take pics ofthe other 2 desserts.


Breakfast this morning will be a bowl of steelcut oats and 2 hardboiled eggs washed down with lots of coffee.

Exercise not done yesterday but will today with results to follow.
30 minutes,5.73 miles,210 calories burned.


Dinner was a huge bowl of beef and vegetable caldo. Picture to come later.


Went back on the exercycle for 22 minutes, 4.11 miles burning 150 calories.
