Happy Monday! This weekend was a bit rougher because I've been experiencing stomach aches quite often. Whenever I would eat I would get a stomach ache. Upon reflection I realize I probably screwed up my gut flora because I was messing with resistant starches to feed gut bacteria. I also was messing with Betaine HCL. I think I created an imbalance so I'm back on probiotics. I definitely noticed the difference almost right away but the pains aren't completely gone. I have preached about maintaining gut health but I get focused on prebiotics and neglect adding the healthy flora back. Hopefully by this time next week my inflammation will be gone and I'll be back on track. The problem with the imbalance, too, is that it causes cravings as well and I'm hungry all the time. I'll be happy to get this straightened out. LOL. I need to stop experimenting. :)
