JennBuck61's Journal, 09 February 2015

Great dinner out with the kids yesterday. I found I could not eat the entire thing - perhaps because I drank a lot of water when they were eating garlic bread, etc. for appetizer. It was good and good to be out with the family. Target is closing down in Canada (they did not last even 3 years, under 2 years in lots of locations) so we stopped in after our meal to see if there were any deals on DVDs - not much to write about as it was under-whelming to say the least. We got a couple DVDs but it was only a few dollars off. They just didn't make any impact in Canada - they should have done more market research and focus groups before coming here. Also, they should have been prepared for a longer period of establishing themselves in Canada before throwing in the towel. Sad for all the people who are now jobless as a result of the closing. Have a good day all.

WOW! Target is such a big deal here. I don't have one near me, but then ... I have nothing near me. LMAO!!! I think my favorite store (when I can get to it) is Bed, Bath & Beyond. Do you have any of those? So glad you and the kids had a nice time together. Have a great day!
