Was hoping I'd be under 250 this morning. Maybe tomorrow! Got in all my fruits & veggies, worked in a couple of desserty things and still kept calories under 1,700. A good day!
This morning, I am tempted to have a second slice of Dave's Killer Bread toasted with butter because my throat hurts (second day) and I am wired to "reward" myself when I am "sick." Resisting that temptation, though. I'll enjoy getting under 250 more than I would enjoy that extra slice of chewy, buttery, nutty goodness.
No other "symptoms" with the sore throat, except that the corner of my mouth was also cracked yesterday morning, and still is today. That never happens to me.
My mother-in-law was very surprised that my daughter and grandkids came to church yesterday, and was very moved by her singing her favorite song with my husband. It is called, "I Love You, Written in Red," about God writing His love toward us in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Praying everybody gets off to a great start on their new week, and that we all have the motivation and determination to stay the course and end the week with some weight loss to show for our efforts.
