Be careful out there Liv! And with the crunches. Maybe replace them with leg raises.

Weighing is always a question for me. Sometimes I have to obsess about it to lose. Right now I am only posting once a week if that. I weigh myself pretty regularly, if I don't I tend to get off track. We are having record breaking temperatures in the mid to high 70's right now. If I don't get back from my walk by 9am it's too warm. You are doing great.

Thanks Oats. I had the shortest outdoors possible yesterday turned and went inside as soon as I hit the sidewalk. Yes I should probably eliminate crunches.

Thanks CrystalJo. Yes to the logging food. Key for me. My foodsscale in on the counter permanently now. When it comes to food I can lie to myself but the foodscale keeps me on the straight and narrow. @ Fritzy I think we all have to find what works for us. And it is different. I lost almost all my weight last time without the scale. Just keeps me calmer. Never liked the scale but I do have to step on it occasionally

Whatever we each view as a workable solution s fine.
I don't scale or pre-measure my food, but I do keep a 10pc measuring set at my desk for reference when tallying what I've already eaten.
If I didn't like how the calories came out or feel hungry/stuffed, I adjust the next time by eyeball and eventually all are close enough for weekly losses.
Whether micromanaged by scale or menu, planning is important for accomplishment (It is for me anyway!).

I hate crunches. Kills my neck. I do it right but they suck. Avoid anything that hurts is my motto! 😓

I love my foodscale. But I can eyeball pretty good after a bit. My tendency is always to abuse food so I have to be carefull. When it comes to daily weighing I just do not think the scale reflects what you do. I can be bloated or dehydrated and mostly this is what it measures. Obviously on the average it will show you what the story is. When I measure with a measuring tape I measure my wrist first and that measurement tells me how much water I am carrying and make me understand what I am seeing.

Liv - I keep a scale on my counter too. The food diary gives selections such as 1/2 avocado or a small, medium or large potato. It's much better if I can enter how many ounces a potato is.
