Well, the good news is that my weight gain this weekend really did seem to just be water weight because it’s gone again today. Still shocked that I didn’t gain more after my bad weekend. Just need to get my hunger under control again. And I REALLY need to go to the grocery store… was going to go last night but cleaning the house won because it was a disaster. Running out of food at home, although maybe that’s a good thing… can’t snack if there’s no food! But also means no healthy food to eat either…
Tonight’s a running day, and the first day that I’m running with my friend. She’s not a runner and asked me to help “train” her when she learned that I’ve been running 2.5 miles 3x a week. Very unusual feeling for me to be the in shape one of my friends, especially since she looks more in shape than me. Running with her is going to make me have to drop back my running amount at first so that she can keep up because she said that she can’t run a mile without stopping, but in the long run I think that it’ll help motivate me. Plus I think I’m going to do “easier” runs with her twice a week and then do 2 longer runs myself, so in the end I’ll end up running just as much as I have been anyway, just spread out over 4 days instead of 3.
