Visiting my grandchildren for the next two weeks. No access to scales so it’ll be a mystery for a while. I’m a bit nervous about over doing it, when a gal needs grand baby time the diet can wait ;)

You know, if the grandchildren are young, and you get busy with diapers, bathing, feeding, laundry and dishes while they nap, to give mom and dad some relief, you will lose weight while visiting. That happened to me, repeatedly for the past 5 years since my first grandchild was born. I was energized while visiting, and I just wanted to participate in every bit of their care, now it is walking the oldest to
Grade 1, and taking the 3 year old to day care in a buggy, I get tons of exercise, and my weight is always about 2 pounds down when I get home. It is the love and the energy the little ones give you.
The joy. I also took naps when they were napping, as you can't keep up the activities at that pace without a mid day rest. Have fun.
