No weight change, however I have recorded a minor success in running that I'm delighted about. Last week I joined a global online club on a running app I use (Strava) they have a weekly competition to see who of the group runs the most miles, fastest times and runs up the most hills. Out of 60 who participated I came 7th, 37th and 3th respectively. The 3rd place I got for running up the most hills means that my name is up in lights for a week! You hopefully will be pleased at the lengths I went to get the third place. After my run on the last day of the week yesterday I was in fourth place with just 1ft less climbed and 1 mile less run than Lars from Estonia. So I only went and ran a sneaky quick mile loop in the village knowing it was already dark in Estonia.

I see now it was after dark in Estonia - not here - but I can almost picture you still doing it. 😊

Ha! Your crafty plan worked then. Very well done - a great achievement. Running up hills is not easy.

Thanks all - I love a bit of competition and I was very lucky this week. I think many on the list were on rest weeks. The week before I would have needed 6500ft to make 3rd.

Would walking count? I liveat the top of a hill!
Sometimes groups (and even the local school) train up to ‘our’ lampost and back down and up and down and and.
I tell the teachers they are torturing their students!
Its 500 steps up the hill. I count every one, every time!

Walking counts yes - but the idea is to maintain your Heart Rate between 180 minus your age and 190 minus your age for as much as possible. To train your heart to get more efficient so you end up running faster. It takes a few months.
