I'm finding that a 2,000 calorie diet works. I initially tried 1,850, but my stomach was gassy (burping). I am still having some gas but not as much. If I make sure to snack between meals my stomach stays calm. I am having to eat something once during the night as I wake up with a gassy stomach. It seems my stomach doesn't like being empty for very long. I never have the gas when I've recently eaten. I haven't been able to track it to any particular food. It seems no matter what I eat it can happen. Overall I feel better. I'm really having fun counting calories this way. It's great some days to get to the end of the day and realize I still have a few calories left to snack with.
