You’ll do it Melissa. Keep your accomplishments in mind luv and don’t slip too far as to have to redo it all. I know you won’t, or I hope you won’t. 😉 Many do so this is just a kind wifey nudge that you will be careful and mindful of all things possible. Here cheering you on. It’s fine to stay where you are but do not reverse all your hard work. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Happy Tuesday, liv! Thanks! Wifey, I appreciate the push. I'm not fearful I will give up. I am just feeling overwhelming weariness. I'm just trying to take one day at a time. Thank you, Jenny!

One day at a time it is. Maybe maintain. Up your cals to maintenance. Maybe the lower cals and not working out like you want is making you feel this way? Idk. I’m no expert. I’m overwhelmed too but I push harder. We all react different. Like they say when the going gets tough the tough get going and that’s what I do. I hope you can dig deep and do the same in spite of the overwhelming feelings and weariness. Sending love and support and prayers.❤️🙏🥰

Thank you, wifey. I'm trying to be tough. sk, I'll make it! I got some new, fresh tips at pt today. The knee has basically not improved for 8 weeks, but I'm not giving up hope, and I'll keep working on what is suggested the best I can. I am sure it will get better somehow. 😊

Nice drop Melissa! As you know I totally understand the frustration with the knees. If the body would only cooperate with the mind!!! Don't get too discouraged. You probably just need to give it more time and rest. I know how hard it is to have patience about it! In time they will improve! Maybe not to 100% but you will still be able to do more things eventually if you don't try to push it before they are ready. Even though you can't run or do weights that involve knees there are so many other things you can do. Don't give up on your other muscle groups! PT is exercise! Maybe some other floor exercises would be good to incorporate, like yoga and also maybe you could work on getting 6 pack abs! I know you got alot of other things going on too. Don't underestimate the power of rest! Sometimes our bodies have a way of forcing us to pay attention to what we need to do. If rest just isn't possible, just remember everything has a season and things will get better!!!

Thank you ocean girl and freetime! bearnoggin, thank you so much for both your understanding and encouragement. I am sort of an all or nuthin kind of gal. I can't do it all right now, so I am indeed struggling to do half or one third of my normal capacity. I really thought I would be back to normal by now. I'm doing pushups and the upper body stuff. My core work had been primarily do to heavy lifting using my whole body. I have to modify my expectations and just be OK with that. Btw, I got a light therapy lamp to see it that might help me deal with the dark days. I think it takes a while to know if it will help at all. I have tried some yoga, but so many positions really aggrivate my knee. I reordered a knee sleeve to see it that will help by keeping it supported and warm. I bought a large before. NSV! Would you believe, I don't have large legs anymore. Who knew?! 😁 I remeasured and ordered a small. Crazy! I am right in the middle of the range for small. Watch, it will come and be so tight I can't even bend. Hahah! Anyway, I am trying to not be too discouraged. ❤️

Melissa, It sounds like you're doing all the right things. I don't like dark days either! Let me know how that light therapy goes. Seasonal Affective disorder is a real thing!!!

🐻 I've only had the light a couple days, but I will for sure update you on how it works. I mostly got it thinking it might help my youngest girl with her alertness and sleep issues. Sadly, I think the light will just increase her headache pain. It is very bright. I decided not to return it and try it for myself. I am using it in the brightest room of my house in the morning so the contrast doesn't make it blinding. 😊

Thank you, #One! I took down my one year of being at "goal, " muscle pic. I'm just not that fit anymore. This picture is from a few weeks ago and still looks like me. 😊
