Getting started is the key. I have been off and on for the past couple of years. I seem to lose some in the summer and put it back on the rest of the year so by the summer I am at the beginning again.
I am (again) on a diet for about 2 months now and have lost 20 pounds. I am told that the cravings go away but that is not entirely so. They do diminish but I seem to always have them. I have cut out most sugars and whites (bread, potatoes, rice, and pasta.) It works for me but is very difficult so please do not lose faith at the beginning. The start is always very very hard. It gets easier - but never easy!.
