I ate around 1500 calories yesterday, but it still felt like too much. I need to get a smaller plate like they suggested in that documentary. Starting with breakfast, 4 oz of yogurt is plenty, and 1/8 c of granola instead of 1/4 will do.

You're doing great. 1500 calories is a good intake level for losing weight. You don't want to cut back much more than that.

Hey Coco, hope your doing well :) Smaller plates, bowls, and cups are good ideas. That was one of the first things I did. I started using the same dishes as my 4yo. They are not the "toddler size" dishes, lol, but they are smaller than the dishes I use for the rest of the family. It helped me quite a bit. Keep up the good work my friend. I think your doing awesome!!

I could've sworn I posted a response... I'm losing it! My mind, that is. Anyway, good idea on the pretty plates, Ceebee. I like TJ Maxx and Pier 1 too. That'll be a fun shopping trip! Rune and Hunny, thanks for the supportive comments! I have had about 1300 calories today, and it feel just about right. I'm not overfull, nor am I hungry.

And thank you for visiting, too, Lisa! I prefer the big spoons -- maybe because my hands feel like paws. I'm not very dexterous for someone in the art biz!

Coco, what is your art? I have been doodling with pastels the past couple of days. Love color! I truly enjoy using a silver baby spoon for my yogurt, icecream, pudding, things of that nature. You see I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth but I have one now! TOWANDA!!!!
