I went to the gym and killed it this am. Got some coffee with cream and whoa...I think they added milk or something because I feel a lil high—sneaky carbs ? I haven’t had an abundance since April 🤤

Aggg I REALLY want to look at your protein intake (because for me 'excess protein' has really affected my weight loss)… but... 😣😜😉

@g_ortegam - Good! :) :) It helps me to see if my 'patterns' apply to others. Right now my interest is in "protein + carbs". Dr. Jason Fung says that this is an issue, and my data lines up with this, but, I want to see if it is true for others. Basically, I want to see if, all other things being equal, does "high protein" slow weight loss?

Interesting. Well I can tell you that although I haven’t been logging appropriately I can say that I have had higher amounts of protein in my diet as of late. I am reading such conflicting information about Keto and exercise. One article will say to eat a tad more protein after working out others say more fat. I am elevating my fats again and keeping protein down for the next few days and we will see. I’ve been working out a lot but there could be other reasons a I’m not losing. Too many cals could be the other reason.

@g_ortegam - Yes, track and then look at the data :) I look at my data, monthly, weekly, and in three day segments (because it helps factor out 'water fluctuations').

If protein slows scale loss it would be because of an increase in lean mass. That would be a good thing.

Ya I def am in a slow down—been up and down. But haven’t been strict either. Just need to stop being lazy

Macros don’t matter for weight loss, if it would i would not be 117, keilin 100 lbs and kayten in between. higher protein is great for the muscle (.7-1lb per weight goal) . you are exercising, you are doing great, try to think about letting go of that constant struggle with macros and only relying on calories. It will make your life beautiful and peaceful 💞

Slow means a whoosh is coming, that’s it. Dont change tactics every week that’s not helpful

That just sounds stressful 🤯

Milk does have lactose & galactose sugar.. keeps the young ones hooked on it. Inside each of us is that same younger self
