Nighttime is hardest for me, too. I don't go out much, which means that I'm sitting home bored. I'm a boredom-eater (and a happy, sad, angry eater, too lol .. Pick an emotion and I'll want to eat because of it.) I also love pasta, but I found something in a recipe I made not too long ago that very closely resembles the texture of pasta. Turkey Bacon. The dish that I used it in was suppose to be a pizza with a pork bacon "crust". I didn't have any, so I used Turkey Bacon and it came out tasting just like Lasagna! I was amazed and elated! A substitute for Lasagna noodles! You might try it sometime and see what you think! Another thing, Shirataki noodles (or Miracle Noodles, they're sometimes called). I found some at Sprouts Farmers Market. Very cheap, like under $1.50 a bag. Super, super low-carb. I haven't eaten them yet 'cause I'm waiting to buy the ingredients to make an Alfredo sauce to go over them, but I've heard they are really good. Maybe those could take the place of your pasta. I know that doesn't help when it comes to eating away from home, but maybe you could get your "pasta fix" sometime at home and it would satisfy that craving enough for you to not be so tempted when you go out :) Hooray for your concerted effort to plan ahead this week! Good luck to you!
