Did not weigh in today nor did I log yesterday. I was told by the Dr my cholesterol was too high 204 with a triglycerides were 194. I refused statins and am going with a diet overhaul. Starting a supplement program with D3, garlic extract, applecider vinegar pills. Hopefully this will take care of the problem. I'm open to advice... please.

cutting out sugar and refined carbs is a good way to start and I agree with Samantha that focusing on whole foods and quality protein is a livable way to get control

Yeah, I hate to say it, but whole foods plant based with no refined sugars, refined grains, or white rice is the best way to stay off diabetes medication. This also includes agave and honey. Erythritol and black molasses is about the only sweeteners safe. However, if you cannot get it under control don't stay off Staten or things will get worse.
