I'm considering getting certified through Dr Pam Popper as Food Over Medicine Instructor. I've had so many clients and some friends and family ask for my advice about improving their health through diet. I always feel a little "outside my area of expertise" in doing so. I can only provide anecdotal evidence-my own dietary changes that have gotten me into remission of my Crohn's for many years now-and some of my other associates and friends that have reversed diseases through diet. I've had a few clients improve remarkably, and lose weight, too by making some changes I've suggested. I figure if people keep asking me then I need to have some certification behind me that is supported by the medical community. Meanwhile, here's a great youtube video from Dr Popper on the lowly potato. I hope you enjoy it.
