Really pleased as I'm back to pre-vacay weight. Not too bad as I've been home less than 2 weeks AND I had major surgery in the interim.
Recovery is slow. I have pain in my left hip area that just won't go away. It's better when I'm resting or with a heating pad. I don't know how to describe the discomfort... it is like I can feel the overhang of my skin and it's getting bunched up when I sit and it's uncomfortable. When I recline or lay down, it gets better or goes away. Like there is something in there that I can feel. It is an odd feeling for sure.
I am ready to return to normal life, be able to drive again, and get out of the house!
