Well, today *is* Sunday, so not too surprised by this. I've got work tomorrow, then first day of uni for the year on Tuesday, so I've got a busy week coming up. My goals for this week are: •stock up on cheap staples •avoid snacking unless it's crunchy vegetables or popcorn •go to bed earlier to not only get better sleep, but to avoid mindless eating late at night That last one might be the hardest for me, but also the most rewarding, so I'll see how I go!

I find a lack of sleep the biggest problem when I am trying not to eat snacks. There is a Michael Mosley documentary where he explains that the brain needs energy when you are sleep deprived and makes you eat sweet things.

Sounds like you have a busy week ahead ... very wise that you are planning ahead... it will give you the best chance of a good outcome all round 👍

Excellent goals, number 1- I would have to put sleep which I personally fail miserably.

@Flossyflu: nothing like a little healthy, friendly competition but at the end of the day, we are both winners! 🙌
@Kenji_the_Cat: I'll look into Micheal Mosley, thanks for the hot tip!
@LizPackard: Always nice to get encouragement and support from your inspirational self, so thanks!
@EightPac: Yes, reading your journal entries it seems that sleep is a challenge for you too. Making it a priority pays off when we can manage it!
@MamaElz: Early to bed sure does cut out the snacking! I'm studying Social Work
