Burnin, burn,Disco infernooo burnin, burn! Haha woke up singing this song today then hit the weighing scale and surprise...I dropped weight! wasn't expecting this as yesterday had some good fatty foods like seeds and pine nuts and wild salmon ....goes to show that once you're in the fat burning zone and still eat unprocessed foods than you're good to go...and I am exercising less than my summer regime cos i haven't managed to fit in at least 30 mins of 'official' exercise this week in the mornings, though still maintaining gym class in the eve. Mind you, had a terrific stairs workout going up to the roof airing a wardrobe of clothes and going down to the basement to place things to sort out later, in fact i clocked the same Nike fuel steps as doing the zumba workout. Well, now I hope to go in maintenance mode as from this weekend and hope to keep it up till after Christmas...i am really excited about Christmas this year with all it's challenges...I am following Flylady's cruising holidays advice and she gives a little task everyday leading to pre-christmas prep and I should be ready by 1st December...It's very good therapy, getting prepared for Christmas every day in promise of hassle free holidays...I'm always a wreck around Christmas time..I decide last minute if i will throw a dinner party for 30 people, then go round shopping frantically, I fit it to a day to accomodate everyone, then there's all the washing up of the cutlery and crockery i get out for this party and cupboard cleaning and housecleaning cos my mother in law has very high standards and nothing i do in this dept is good enough... she always has to find that sore spot, so I usually dread having her come over...I know she means well but it does bring me down after all the effort I put in. I've never been a full-time home keeper, even pregnant worked full-time up to 8 months into pregnancy and was back to work after 6 weeks! Anyway, this year, I'm feeling very competent, I have set up morning and evening routines and I do a little bit every day so I'm quite confident to leave the door open and have my mother in law walk in! I'm not afraid anymore of any critiscm in this department. So, to good health and cheer, working my way through the last months of 2014! It has been quite an adventure!
