No Bread for Stage 1 Fat Smash :(

You could probably substitute the breadcrumbs with a cup of ground oatmeal. Probably serve the same purpose and would be good for Phase 1. I'll have to try it.

No. Grains of any kind are not permitted in Phase 1. If you use whole wheat bread crumbs, it will be fine for Phase 2.

Only a 4 With...substituting the bread crumbs with ground nuts...soy nuts work great for crunch and flavor...but almonds not too finely ground would be great also. Just don't use too much :o) Or make the zucchini, onion, egg etc into a sort of patty and dredge in the nuts and continue. Sounds good this way :o)

You can have oatmeal in the Fat Smash phase 1. Actually, you are supposed to have 1/2 cup a day. That sounds like a great substitue for bread crumbs. I had never thought of that before :)

Why are people giving this recipe poor reviews when you haven't tried it. Just because your diet doesn't allow you to eat something doesn't mean its a bad dish... WTF????
