A spicy chili recipe that's a delightful change from beef chili.
Ingredients
Directions
- Coat a large pot with cooking spray. Over medium-high heat add onion and garlic and sauté until tender.
- Add half of the beans, green chilis, broth, chicken, chili powder and salt.
- Mash the remaining beans and add to pot.
- Bring mixture to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Top with a dollop of reduced fat yogurt (optional) and chili powder.
- Note: for Phase 1 Fat Smash leave out the chicken.

the recipe should actually be for 20 oz chicken in lieu of the 12 oz if you are keeping it in --don't keep it in if you are in detox-- you could also sub veggie stock in lieu of chicken stock :o) hugs, Christy
