Turkey, Bean & Zucchini Chili

Chili that's heavy on the beans, veggies and flavor.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Soak beans overnight.
  2. Brown turkey with onions, do not add extra oil.
  3. To crockpot, add two cans of tomatoes, chopped zucchini, beans and ground turkey and onions.
  4. Mix with seasoning package for chili, or chili powder.
  5. Simmer on high for 3 to 4 hours, then turn to low for 3 more hours.
  6. Serve with low fat sour cream or low fat shredded cheese.

Be careful with the canned goods and the type of chili seasoning you are using. It is very likely that this "chili" has hidden sodium!
