Turkey and Cheese Stuffed Pepper
Baked red bell pepper stuffed with ground turkey and cheese. You can use beef as well.
Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 °F (200 °C).
- Cut top off the red pepper and remove all seeds and insides.
- Mix turkey with black pepper and seasoned salt like Lawry's.
- Fill the red pepper with the meat, cover with foil and put in oven for 30 minutes.
- When meat has browned, add cheese on top and cook for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool before serving.

Sounds yummy to me. I love ground turkey instead of ground beef. It's so less fatty.

This was absolutely delicious!!! I served it with a couple of side dishes, but I shouldn't have because this itself was so filling! Yum

This was scrumptious. I modified it somewhat by adding chopped onions, celery and fresh garlic.

I used ground beef for this recipe and it was delicious! Didn't need any other food with it... I submitted the photo to show what the dish looks like. I loved it! Plus I was full after eating.. :)

Cooked ground beef (not turkey) in skillet with a bit of onion. Used green pepper (not red) and cut it in half top to bottom. Cooked pepper alone in microwave until just tender. Stuffed it with meat/onion mixture, topped it with cheese, and back in microwave just until cheese melts. Very good this way, and great for when you are in a hurry!
