Great taco bake that you can serve with additional toppings like shredded lettuce, jalapenos, guacamole, ripe olives, sour cream or salsa.
Ingredients
Directions
- For the crust, beat the cream cheese and eggs until smooth.
- Add the cream and 1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning.
- Grease a 9"x13" baking dish; spread half the cheese over the bottom.
- Pour in the egg mixture as evenly as possible. Bake at 375° F (190° C) , 25-30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before adding the topping.
- For the topping, brown the hamburger; drain fat.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, chiles, and 3 teaspoons taco seasoning. Spread over the crust and top with remaining cheese.
- Reduce oven to 350° F (175° C) and bake another 20 minutes or so until hot and bubbly. Serve with the toppings of your choice (add additional carbs).
- Note: based on recipe from recipeczar.

Sounds so yummy, but Im worried bout the cream and eggs and cheese. Could you use 1 yolk and just 4 whites??

What a great dish. My family and I didn't even miss the bread based crust or taco shells/chips. I did add chopped onions and garlic to my meat mixture. This one is a keeper.

I love this recipe. I have made it several times and it just gets better tasting each time. With meals like this it is easy to eat low carb.

Great recipe. I made a few substitutions - added onion to hamburger and used green enchilada sauce in place of green chilies and tomato sauce - amazing!

Instant family favorite! I made it last night and have invited over a friends family for dinner Sunday so I can make it again. So good! I froze a few so hopefully it'll be ok unfreezing because I plan to make freexzer dinners for later next time too.

This is an awesome dish, and it has good flavor. It is also a dish that allows for some different options. My only regret is that the serving portions are just a bit small so I have to have two to fill me up. Which of course doubles the carbs.
